Junior Rec League
Sacramento Roller Derby offers an 8 week junior rec league course for youth of all genders ages 8 to 17. This course is intended to introduce the basics of roller derby in a safe and fun environment. This course teaches basic skating and derby skills, communication skills, self resilience, teamwork, and how to fall and get right back up again. Each 8 week course ends with a fun full game/scrimmage that parents, family, and fans are encouraged to attend.
Our current 8 week course is running from:
April 8th to June 3rd (practices are every Sunday from 1 to 3 unless otherwise specified)

Adult Rec League
Our Rec League is Roller Derby 101. It is designed to provide those interested with a comprehensive derby workout, as well as condition potential skaters with the fundamentals of building the strength & endurance necessary to play roller derby. There is no prior skating experience required. You may take as many sessions as you like.
The next 8 session will begin Monday, April 2nd, 2018. Rec League classes are Monday nights from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm, held at our practice facility:

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY (BY 5:30 PM) WEEK 1 FOR REGISTRATION.
The cost is $10.00 per week or $70 if you pay for the entire eight week session by 1/15/2018.
What to Bring:
- Quad Roller Skates (NO inlines)
- Knee Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Wrist guards
- Mouth guard (required)
- Water Bottle!
- Breathable, Unrestrictive Clothing
- Athletic Shoes for off-skates conditioning.
We encourage skaters to bring their own equipment, but we do offer loaner gear available on a first come, first serve basis.
