Sacramento Roller Derby will be holding open tryouts for skaters 18+ of all levels on Monday, February 4th. These tryouts are open to new skaters (no skating skills required!), returning skaters, and potential transfer skaters. Skaters will have a meet and greet with coaching staff and be given information about our league and then will go through a series of basic skating drills. At the end of the tryout coaching staff will give each skater a placement in one of our training programs or our team level program. It is not required to tryout to join Roller Derby 101 (formerly known as rec league) but skaters wishing to join our advanced training program or join the league teams are encouraged to tryout.

 We encourage skaters to bring any gear they have (helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads, and skates), but there is plenty of loaner gear available as well. Don't forget to bring your own mouth guard and water!
